Hello, my name is Katie Schwartz and I am 18. I just graduated high school and decided to take a year off for missions over going to college right away. I knew for a while I wanted to do missions after high school but I never anticipated Thailand. I did not know a lot about human trafficking until a few months ago. Since then, this fight against human trafficking has become very internalized for me and is something that God has truly laid on my heart. Through a whole bunch of little events He led me to this and getting to know some of you has been such an amazing blessing and affirmation of His plan for this group! 

Now for the little stuff. 

• I live in Elverson, Pennsylvania.
• I've been on mission trips to Alabama, Kentucky, Guatemala, and Peru.
• I love art.
• I do photography, act, play violin, sing, and paint. 
• I have an older sister and younger brother.
• I was home schooled but also did a cyberschool, took classes at the public school, and took classes at a community college. 
• I like purple.
• I'm stubborn. Good or bad depending on the situation.
• I love trying new things.
• I adore conversation with strangers.
• Books are beautiful.
• I LOVE LAUGHING.

I can't really think of much else at the moment. And we'll all have three months to get to know each other! I'm so incredibly excited to meet you all! And I'm also excited to hear a little bit about each of you =)
